At the October 2010 club meeting, a need for art supplies was brought up by one of our members, who is an art teacher at two different Rockford elementary schools.  A hat was passed and money was raised for this need.  Our member then took the money to her school principal where it was deposited and used to purchase numerous art supplies for her students.
